The Los Alamitos BU12 Rec team, coached by Dennis Durant and Dennis Durant II took 1st Place the 2003 Mission Viejo Classic Tournament. Many of the same boys played in the 2003 Cypress Memorial Day Classic Tournament taking 2nd in the Competitive BU12 tournament. The boys won all four of their games in the Mission Viejo Tournament. They played two teams from Mission Viejo and one from Culver City. They played the final game against Tucson, Arizona. The defense gave up only one goal during the entire tournament.
