Los Alamitos GU14's All Stars won the 2004 Area E All Star Championship. The team went undefeated in double elimination format to beat La Mirada, West Garden Grove and Cypress twice with a 2-1 victory in the Championship match.
The team then went on to the Section 11 playoffs in Downey and defeated El Cajon 4-0, La Costa 7-0. They then beat South Bay Diego by an official score of 2-1 after the game went through overtime and finally to kicks from the mark--pitting them against Downey in the championship match. The championship game was a tough match. Los Al played Downey to a 1-1 tie during regulation play, but ultimately lost during overtime.
The players, coaches, and parents are very proud of this GU14 All Star team's accomplishments for finishing as one of the top two GU14 AYSO All Star teams in Southern California.
