Dear Region 159 Families:
Region 159 (serving the Los Alamitos ~ Seal Beach ~ Rossmoor Communities) is seeking a Regional Commissioner to lead our Region for the next three years, with a term to begin this summer. As with all AYSO positions, this is a fully Volunteer position; however, this is a vital volunteer position for the successful continued programming for Kids Playing Soccer.
REGIONAL COMMISSIONER (RC) ROLE
The Regional Commissioner is the primary volunteer responsible to develop, lead, and assure continued advancement of AYSO programs in the Regions spear of influence. This position requires a person with the ability to lead other volunteers, communicate with the City entities and support our families. The position has leadership elements of finance, accounting, database programs, marketing, communications, program management and event preparations with the support of active Board Members in these areas. The sitting voting Board Members of the Region 159 Board of Directors vote for the new Regional Commissioner from a list of candidates.
