SUMMER 2020 Deft Touch Soccer Camps

*Fees - $20 AYSO Annual Registration Fee and $2.75 Sports Connect Order Fee.  AYSO Annual Registration fee is payable once per year and is valid from 8/1/2020 to 7/31/2021.


NOTE: Spring refund discount codes are not redeemable for Deft Touch Summer Camp registrations.

Refund requests must be submitted a minimum of 2 days prior to camp start date.  No refunds for drops or no shows.  $20 AYSO National fee and $2.75 Sports Connect fee are non refundable.

Our focused 5 day curriculum is designed to meet the needs of today’s players while adhering to all state, county, and AYSO National COVID-19 guidelines.

The camp focus will be on speed, agility, coordination, technical skills and ball mastery, and tactical awareness while using match related situations to increase their awareness.

This camp is designed for player who wishes to improve their skill level, love for the sport, and build self-confidence on and off the field of play. 

CAMP CURRICULUM:

DYNAMIC WARM-UP: Sport specific movements designed to use the Soccer ball to improve a player’s balance, rhythm and coordination.

TECHNICAL TRAINING: Calculated break down of the entire technique into isolated movements so the player can see success in each skill or technique.

DRIBBLING & FEINTING: Repetitive skill movements designed to enhance a players comfort on the ball while performing dribbles, turns, upper and lower body movements in pressure situations.

PASSING & RECEIVING: Calculated break down of the technical skills needed when passing and receiving the ball using all surfaces of the foot. Explanation of the tactical reasons behind maintaining possession of the ball, with movement on and off the ball.

GOING TO GOAL: Games and drills designed to increase a players confidence in creating and executing scoring opportunities.


CAMP PLAYER AND PARENT REQUIREMENTS:

Player Requirements:

  1. Must wear mask at the field until advised by trainer its ok to remove.
  2. Must wear mask when leaving the field
  3. Must bring own ball (Size 3 U6 / U8, Size 4 U10 & U12, Size 5 U14)
  4. Must wear running shoes or cleats, shin guards, socks
  5. Must always maintain appropriate social distance (6ft. of separation)
  6. Advise trainer immediately if not feeling well.
  7. Bring your own water bottle (recommend labeling with name)
  8. Bring your own hand sanitizer (recommend labeling with name)
  9. NO Sharing of any equipment or personal items including ball, equipment, water, hand sanitizer, etc.
  10. Hand sanitizer or handwashing on arrival, departure, and during any breaks.  Additionally, all players must wash hands or hand sanitize after coughing, sneezing, touching their face or using the restroom.
  11. DO NOT attend camp if you are not feeling well.
  12. DO NOT attend camp if you or an immediate family member is COVID-19 positive.
  13. DO NOT attend camp if you or an immediate family member is under COVID-19 isolation protocol or has come into close contact with some who has tested positive for COVID-19.

Parent / Guardian Requirements:

  1. Must always wear a mask at the field, no exceptions.
  2. Must always maintain appropriate social distance (6ft. of separation).
  3. Escort your child to your assigned trainer for check-in procedure. 
  4. Must leave the field after check in.  May sit inside own car but cannot remain on the field.
  5. DO NOT bring your child to camp if he/she is not feeling well.
  6. DO NOT bring your child to camp if he/she or an immediate family member is COVID-19 positive
  7. DO NOT bring your child to camp if he/she or an immediate family member is under COVID-19 isolation protocol or has come into close contact with some who has tested positive for COVID-19.
  8. Report any Positive COVID-19 cases to AYSO Region 159 immediately.  Email [email protected] and [email protected].
  9. Clean & sanitize all player equipment (ball, cleats, shin guards, etc.) before and after every field usage/practice.

Adherence to COVID-19 Health & Safety Requirements is MANDATORY by all involved with AYSO. This is NOT about an individual; this is about keeping ALL who participate healthy & safe. Coaches, Players (and spectators IF allowed) who fail to follow AYSO, State, County or City COVID-19 requirements will: 1) First Offense, receive a verbal warning & retraining of requirements, 2) Second Offence, Suspension of training in progress & retraining of requirements 3) Third Offense, Suspension of training for a minimum of two sessions & retraining of requirements; 4) any reoccurrence, REMOVAL from AYSO activity for remainder of the scheduled period (season, program, camp, etc.). Please, this is not even an area the Region wishes to engage; Practice personal & player SAFETY DAILY.
