AYSO Region 159 is proud to be one of the largest youth soccer groups in North Orange County. We are a 100% volunteer-based, non-profit organization. Without PARENTS/ GUARDIANS, SIBLINGS & FAMILY VOLUNTEERS, AYSO cannot function to serve the players. Please consider volunteering to Coach or Referee!! The Region can only form teams based on the number of available Coaches and Referees.
Our Developmental Academy Is For Players Born 2016 Through 2020
Sessions will be conducted in partnership with local Los Alamitos company Deft Touch. Their experienced trainers will work with your players to develop their skills. All academy players will attend Saturday morning sessions for 8 weeks at Arbor Park in Los Alamitos. There will be no weekday practices. Players will receive an AYSO Spring Academy shirt, a pair of red socks, an AYSO soccer ball, a drawstring backpack, and an AYSO water bottle. You will need to provide them with black shorts and shin guards. Sign up between October 1st and March 1st. No refunds will be given after March 1st. The price is $80.*
Our Spring Select Program Is For Players Born 2005 Through 2015
Register to express your interest in our Spring Select program. Our number of coach, referee, and field maintenance volunteers will determine our number of teams. In Spring Select, players are "selected" onto teams using a draft. Players will have priority to enter the draft pool if a family member volunteers as a coach or referee. Games will be played on Saturdays. Practices will begin in February and practice times will be determined by coaches. Sign up between October 1st and December 15th. No refunds will be given after 10 days from the time that your payment is processed. The price is $130.* Your player will be wait listed upon registering and you will not pay until your player is selected onto a team.
*Financial assistance is available. Players will need to pay the $20 annual, non-refundable AYSO national fee if they did not play in the Fall. There is also a $2.75 site registration fee.
We need coaches! Lots of coaches for all our age groups from U4 through U14. We provide all training, certification, and safety courses required. Sign up at AYSO159.org, login to your account and click the volunteer icon on the left menu, then click the Find Volunteer Roles link.
Remember it is and will always be all about the kids! Please consider volunteering to coach so that we can work together to get as many kids back out on the field as possible in a Positive, Instructional, and Encouraging program.
